5 years agoLos Angeles Angels outfielder Justin Upton (turf toe) has been taking batting practice, and he will travel with the team for its upcoming eight-game road trip starting Monday in Oakland. However, he will not be activated from the 10-day injured list. Manager Brad Ausmus said Upton will need a minor-league rehab assignment. The initial timetable for Upton had him returning sometime in June, and that certainly appears to still be the case as he makes some progress. If he is available in your fantasy league, now is the time to stash him if you have the roster flexibility.--Daniel Dobish
