6 years agoHouston Astros starter Justin Verlander will take the ball in the series finale against the Twins on Wednesday. Verlander (3-0) is off to another typical dominant start to his season and in his last 13 innings has allowed only two runs on five hits while striking out 19. Verlander is always a must-start when he takes the mound but endured a strange season pitching at home in 2018. In 19 starts at Minute Maid Park last season, Verlander produced a record of only 4-7 despite a WHIP of 0.84, a 2.84 ERA while punching out 170 hitters in only 117 1/3 innings. The Twins are playing solid baseball right now but Verlander needs to be active in all fantasy formats for Wednesday.--Joey C - RotoBaller
