7 years agoHouston Astros starter Justin Verlander continues to dominate every opponent put in front of him, tossing six innings of one-run baseball as the Astros knocked off the Giants 4-1. Verlander (6-2) struck out nine hitters while allowing only three hits. He has now struck out at least seven hitters in nine of his 11 starts this season and lowered his ERA to 1.08 after another fantastic performance. The future Hall of Famer is on top of his game and is the fiercest pitching force in any fantasy format right now.--Joey C - RotoBaller
