6 years agoHouston Astros starter Justin Verlander will face his old team, the Tigers, on Monday in Detroit. Verlander is 19-9 with a 2.47 ERA in an Astros uniform since being acquired last August and is coming off of a strong start against the Twins on September 4. It has been another elite season for the veteran right-hander and has 248 strikeouts through 188 innings pitched with a 0.94 WHIP. He has been hit up for 27 home runs this season but Verlander is a top DFS choice against the lowly Tigers for Monday's slate of games.--Joey C - RotoBaller
