Justus Sheffield Allows Six Runs Tuesday
3 years agoSeattle Mariners starting pitcher Justus Sheffield only managed to record five outs against the New York Yankees Tuesday, giving up six runs on five hits and three walks. He struck out two. His ERA is now an unfortunate 6.48 with a 1.78 WHIP. He's simply not been competitive of late, and his spot in the rotation appears to be in jeopardy. The only thing keeping him on the mound is the lack of depth options at Triple-A Tacoma. If any fantasy managers are still rostering Sheffield, it's time to move on.
