3 years agoSeattle Mariners starting pitcher Justus Sheffield had yet another tough start Wednesday, allowing four runs on seven hits and three walks to the Toronto Blue Jays in four innings pitched. He struck out three batters. Sheffield was able to work himself out of several jams in this one, including leaving the bases loaded in the second inning, otherwise his line would have looked considerably worse. Even so, he once again managed to raise both his ERA and WHIP to 5.88 and 1.71 for the year. It's hard to see any reason to hold him on a fantasy roster.--Doug Goldring - RotoBaller
