Justyn Ross To Miss His Rookie Season
2 years agoThe Kansas City Chiefs placed undrafted rookie wide receiver Justyn Ross (foot) on Injured Reserve on Monday, and he will miss the entire season after recently undergoing foot surgery. It's a tough break for the 22-year-old, who could still develop into a starting NFL receiver down the road. With Tyreek Hill now in Miami, the Chiefs will open the season with JuJu Smith-Schuster, Mecole Hardman, Marquez Valdes-Scantling and rookie Skyy Moore as their top four pass-catchers. No one wideout can single-handedly replace Hill in the receiving game, which is why KC plans to spread the ball around like never before with quarterback Patrick Mahomes under center in 2022.
