3 years agoMinnesota Wild goaltender Kaapo Kahkonen had another solid night at home as the Wild defeated the New Jersey Devils 5-2 on Thursday night. Kahkonen stopped 29 of 31 shots for his second consecutive win. That moved him to 4-1-1 on the season while spelling Cam Talbot in the process. Kahkonen was particularly a thorn in the side of Jesper Bratt, who had several quality scoring chances. The Finnish goalie thwarted every one of those attempts as Kahkonen showed that the problems of last year appeared to be a product of the past. --Chris Wassel - RotoBaller
