Kadarius Toney Could Have Vital Role Vs. The Cowboys
3 years agoNew York Giants wide receiver Kadarius Toney is coming off his best season performance in Week 4. He caught 6-of-9 targets for 78 yards in Sunday's 27-21 win over the New Orleans Saints. The rookie wide receiver played primarily out of the slot and saw a team-high nine targets. He averaged eight air yards per target and owned 24% of the team's target market share in Week 4. Sterling Shepard (hamstring) and Darius Slayton (hamstring) did not practice Thursday and could miss their second straight week. The Dallas Cowboys have been dreadful against the pass this season, allowing 315.2 passing yards per game, good for 31st in the NFL. Once again, Toney could see an expanded role in Week 5 and is a boom-or-bust flex against the Cowboys if Shepard and Slayton are ruled out.
