Kadarius Toney, Darius Slayton Questionable For Sunday

2 years agoNew York Giants wide receivers Kadarius Toney (hamstring) and Darius Slayton (undisclosed) have been deemed questionable to suit up for Sunday's contest vs. the Jets. Toney has been slowed in practice by nagging leg injuries, while Slayton played just five snaps in the team's preseason opener two weeks ago due to tightness. While the team got a boost earlier in the week after Sterling Shepard returned from an Achilles tear, he will miss the preseason finale and his status for Week 1 remains unclear. Kenny Golladay figures to serve as Daniel Jones' primary weapon on the outside, although Wan'Dale Robinson should play a sizable role as well. If either Toney or Slayton is held out, their next chance to suit up for game action will come Week 1 against Tennessee.--Jesse Borek
