3 years agoNew York Giants rookie wide receiver Kadarius Toney has been placed on the reserve/COVID-19 list Thursday. This comes a day after the Giants rookies reported to training camp. The 20th overall pick of the 2021 NFL Draft is following NFL protocols and is currently away from the team. It's unclear if Toney tested positive or came into close contact with someone who was infected. The 22-year-old dealt with a minor injury and reportedly was going to be eased Into the offense. He has yet to see the field with QB Daniel Jones, and with the recent news, it further delays the chance to build a rapport with the Giants starting quarterback.
