3 years agoNew York Giants wide receiver Kadarius Toney caught his only target for nine yards while losing two yards in his only rushing attempt in Sunday's 23-16 win over the Las Vegas Raiders. The Giants were without slot wide receiver Sterling Shepard (hamstring); Toney didn't capitalize on his opportunity and was targeted just once in Sunday's victory. When filling in for Shepard from the slot in Weeks 4 and 5, he had reeled in 16-of-22 targets for 267 yards. The 22-year-old dealt with a thumb laceration but entered Sunday's game without an injury designation. Toney will have an extra week of rest to recover from his thumb issue as the Giants have a bye in Week 10. Despite a disappointing Week 9, the Giants rookie wideout has plenty of upside and should continue to be stashed in all league formats.--Brad Camara - RotoBaller
