3 years agoThe Houston Texans placed kicker Ka'imi Fairbairn and linebacker Eric Wilson on the Reserve/COVID-19 list on Wednesday. Fairbairn is vaccinated, so he'll have a chance to clear the protocols with a negative test to play on Sunday against the Los Angeles Chargers. Wilson, on the other hand, is unvaccinated, so he'll be out in Week 16 and is required to quarantine for 10 days. The Texans offense is one of the worst in the NFL in 2021, scoring 14.8 points per game (second-fewest), which has made Fairbairn a fantasy kicker to avoid on a weekly basis. Heading into Week 16 action, he ranks as the No. 29 kicker in fantasy points with only 14 field goals and 10 extra points made in 11 games played.
