6 years agoHouston Texans kicker Ka'imi Fairbairn remains out with a soft tissue injury that cost him the chance to play in Saturday's preseason game against the San Francisco 49ers. Texans head coach Bill O'Brien does not have a timetable for Fairbairn's return, but the team does have a backup plan in recent signing Nick Rose. If Fairbairn is back by the time the regular season rolls around, he presents some intriguing upside for the Texans and for fantasy owners -- Houston should have a strong offense this season with quarterback Deshaun Watson back, giving Fairbairn chances to kick extra points and increasing his chances of getting field goal attempts on drives into the opponent's territory.--Justin Carter - RotoBaller
