3 years agoThe Montreal Canadiens claimed former Los Angeles Kings defenseman Kale Clague off waivers on Saturday. Clague was the King's second-round pick in the 2016 NHL draft. Clague contributed five assists in 11 games played with Los Angeles this season. The 23-year-old should bring much-needed relief to Montreal's lineup, as several of the team's defensemen are out with injury or in the COVID-19 protocols. Unfortunately, Clague didn't pan out with the Kings as they had hoped. However, with Montreal having so many injuries on the blue line, Clague will undoubtedly be allowed the opportunity to succeed in Montreal.--Andrew Lennox - RotoBaller
