6 years agoLos Angeles Angels infielder Kaleb Cowart was recalled from Triple-A Salt Lake on Tuesday. With Ian Kinsler getting traded to Boston, Cowart is likely going to serve as LA's utility infielder. David Fletcher is expected to shift over to second base, with Jefry Marte and Luis Valbuena splitting duty at third. Cowart should see a handful of starts per week up the middle, but does not pose enough playing time to merit a look outside of extremely deep fantasy leagues.--patton
