6 years agoLos Angeles Angels infielder Kaleb Cowart has been placed on the 10-day disabled list with a left ankle sprain. Thirty-year-old infielder Jose Fernandez has been recalled in his place and will start at first base on Friday. Infielder Nolan Fontana has been recalled as well, replacing Shohei Ohtani. Fernandez has a chance to play a fair amount but shouldn't be counted on in fantasy formats just yet.--patton
