4 years agoKansas City Chiefs wide receiver/kick returner Byron Pringle (ankle) has been activated off of injured reserve, which paves the way for a potential return to action as soon as Sunday versus the Saints. Pringle's value lies primarily in his kick returning expertise, which benefits the Chiefs Defense/special teams group more than his individual value as a wide receiver. With that said, upon his activation, he'll give Patrick Mahomes yet another deep threat, further strengthening the fantasy appeal of the Chiefs' MVP candidate. With Kansas City's defense having found its groove, Pringle's return on special teams could push the group toward top tier status entering the postseason.--Jesse Borek
