Kareem Hunt Inactive To Close Out The Season
3 years agoCleveland Browns running back Kareem Hunt (ankle) is inactive for the Week 18 regular season finale against the Cincinnati Bengals. Hunt had a disappointing season thanks to nine missed games due to injury. Not having his versatile skills out of the backfield behind Nick Chubb really hurt a Browns offense that lacked many big-time playmakers at the receiving position. The 26-year-old finishes the year with 78 carries for 386 yards and five touchdowns while also catching 22 of 27 targets for 174 yards in eight games played. D'Ernest Johnson, who came off the COVID-19 list on Saturday, will serve as Chubb's backup in the meaningless season finale. Johnson didn't have much of a role behind Chubb in Week 17 and isn't likely to be fantasy relevant on Sunday.
