Kareem Hunt Set To Reprise Role As Third-Down Back
3 years agoIn 2021, Cleveland Browns running back Kareem Hunt and teammate Nick Chubb will reprise their respective roles as the one-two punch in year two of the Kevin Stefanski offense. Last September, Hunt signed a contract extension to remain with the Browns last year, disappointing many dynasty gamers who were eyeing Hunt as a potential bell-cow back had he become a free-agent after 2020. Instead, Hunt will continue to operate as the team's pass-catching back who can also handle a heavy workload on the ground if needed. Hunt should remain prominently involved in the Cleveland offense, lining up as a receiver at times, as opposing defenses key in on stopping a rushing attack that was one of the best in the NFL in 2020. Hunt is fine to pick as a low-end RB3 in PPR leagues who comes with plenty of upside should Chubb miss time due to injury.
