Kareem Hunt Week-to-Week With Ankle Injury
3 years agoCleveland Browns running back Kareem Hunt (ankle) is considered week-to-week with an ankle injury and is unlikely to play in Week 15 against the Las Vegas Raiders. Hunt exited the game early against the Baltimore Raven after getting four touches which turned into 18 total yards. In his absence, Nick Chubb will likely be leaned on heavily as a ball-carrier, while D'Ernest Johnson sees an increase in reps as well. Johnson recorded four carries for 22 yards and caught a pass for a seven-yard gain in Week 14, so he could be worth an add as some insurance for any Hunt fantasy managers down the stretch. Demetric Felton could see some work as a pass-catcher, but he isn't on the fantasy radar in conventional-sized leagues even with Hunt sidelined. Whenever Hunt returns, it is hard to imagine he will be able to produce similar to his early-season numbers due to all his injury trouble this year, but he will be a solid RB3/FLEX option whenever he is to suit up again.
