Kayvon Thibodeaux To Miss 3-4 Weeks With MCL Sprain
2 years agoInitial tests on New York Giants rookie first-round defensive end Kayvon Thibodeaux (knee) showed a sprained MCL that is expected to keep him out for three to four weeks, according to a source. The good news is that Thibodeaux's ACL and meniscus are intact. The Giants are hopeful that he'll be ready to play in the Week 1 regular season opener against the Tennessee Titans, according to a source. We're skeptical that the 21-year-old fifth overall pick will be ready for the regular season opener, and fantasy managers in IDP leagues should adjust accordingly. The good news is that the Giants won't lose Thibodeaux for a significant amount of time to begin his rookie season in the NFL.
