7 years agoSan Diego Padres relief pitcher Kazuhisa Makita has been optioned to Triple-A El Paso. Makita is currently rocking a 6.75 ERA in 16 innings pitched and his game so far hasn't translated to the MLB. He pitched in Japan last year, where he pitched to a 2.30 ERA in 62 2/3 innings, and he has been a top relief option due to his unusual submarine delivery that throws off batters. He holds no fantasy relevance in all formats.--Caden Inaba
