Keaontay Ingram Leads Cardinals In Rushing
2 years agoArizona Cardinals running back Keaontay Ingram carried the ball 16 times for 61 yards in the team's 26-23 loss to the Tennessee Titans in Saturday's preseason finale. The rookie out of USC will have an uphill battle to earn significant playing time in a crowded Arizona backfield, as James Conner, Darrel Williams, and Eno Benjamin could put Ingram fourth in line for touches. However, there were reports that came out suggesting Williams could be a cut candidate. A heavy workload in a preseason finale doesn't seem ideal for his outlook, but head coach Kliff Kingsbury said the team is "really, really impressed" with the 22-year-old. Still, it looks like he will be at best the No. 3 option out of the backfield, which puts him well off the fantasy radar in redraft formats.
