3 years agoPittsburgh Pirates third baseman Ke'Bryan Hayes continued his strong start to the 2022 season on Saturday, going 2-for-4 with two runs, an RBI, and a walk. Although he has no home runs, he's made up for it with a .333 batting average and has shown good plate discipline with an 18.5 strikeout and 13.6 walk rate. Also, Hayes has stolen two bases with six RBI and 11 runs. It's a good sign for fantasy managers after a rough season a year ago. Across 96 games, Hayes slashed .257/.316/.373 with six home runs and nine stolen bases. The 25-year-old will likely never factor much into the power department, but can keep providing value in batting average and stolen bases.--Spencer Seguin - RotoBaller
