Ke'Bryan Hayes Reportedly Avoids Significant Injury
2 years agoPittsburgh Pirates' third baseman Ke'Bryan Hayes (shoulder) is only sore after a collision at home plate to close Thursday's game against the Chicago Cubs. The 25-year-old reportedly is "all good" and "just a bit sore" after colliding with Willson Contreras for a game-winning run in the bottom of the 10th inning. He stayed down after the collision but is reportedly just sore. The Pirates will see how the third baseman feels on Friday. Hayes went 1-for-5 with a two-run homer and two additional runs scored in Thursday's win. Overall, Hayes is slashing .264/.340/.414 with three home runs, 24 RBI, 32 runs scored, and eight stolen bases across 63 games. Stay tuned for further updates.
