Ke'Bryan Hayes Returns To Lineup Sunday
3 years agoPittsburgh Pirates third baseman Ke'Bryan Hayes (hand) is back in the starting lineup on Sunday and will bat leadoff against the Cubs. Hayes had missed the team's last five games while dealing with a hand bruise he suffered last weekend. After a breakout performance in 2020, Hayes has underwhelmed fantasy managers this year with a .246/.317/.370 triple-slash line, five homers, four steals, 28 RBI and 36 runs scored over 77 games. He's been especially cold over his last 30 games, where he's slashing .227/.292/.327 with one home run, two steals, eight RBI and 15 runs scored. For the majority of managers, Hayes can be left on the waiver wire until he shows significant improvement.
