3 years agoThe Baltimore Orioles placed starting pitcher Keegan Akin and outfielder Anthony Santander on the Covid-19 injured list Wednesday, per BaltimoreBaseball.com's Rich Dubroff. Akin, who was scheduled to start, will be replaced by left-hander Alexander Wells. Ryan McKenna, who was optioned to Triple-A Norfolk on Tuesday to make room for John Means was recalled as well. Manager Brandon Hyde said he does not know how long Akin and Santander would be on the Covid-19 list. Santander is the only fantasy-relevant player of the bunch at this time, so fantasy managers should start preparing for alternative roster options should he end up missing a chunk of time.--Connelly Doan - RotoBaller
