Keegan Akin Gets Roughed Up In Monday Start
3 years agoBaltimore Orioles starting pitcher Keegan Akin fell to 0-3 in Monday's 10-2 loss to the Astros. Akin pitched 4 innings, allowing five runs on six hits (including a three-run home run) and four walks with five strikeouts. His offense didn't give him much support, but Akin did not put his team in a position to win either way. The 26-year-old now has a 6.42 ERA and 1.57 WHIP on the season. His next start should be on the road against the Blue Jays. Most of the O's starting pitchers offer little value, fantasy or otherwise, so Akin should be avoided regardless of matchup.
