3 years agoBaltimore Orioles starting pitcher Keegan Akin found his groove in Thursday's 13-1 win over the Angels. Akin pitched 7 innings, allowing one run on three hits (including a leadoff home run to Shohei Ohtani) and two walks with six strikeouts. It was the first start all season for Akin in which he pitched 6 innings, let alone 7 and was his first win of the season. It was nice to see him find success, but Akin is now 1-8 on the season with a 7.26 ERA and 1.70 WHIP, so fantasy managers should not expect routine performance like this from him. His next start will be a tough one at the Blue Jays.--Connelly Doan - RotoBaller
