Keenan Allen - Week 14 Outlook for Fantasy Football
3 years agoLos Angeles Chargers wide receiver Keenan Allen (COVID-19) is currently on the reserve/COVID-19 list, but is vaccinated and has a chance to suit up on Sunday versus the New York Giants. In order for Allen to be eligible for Sunday's contest, he would have to pass two separate negative tests that are both 24 hours apart. The veteran can be heralded as Mr. Consistent in 2021 with 86 receptions, 929 yards and four touchdowns on the season, but managers will have to stress about his status going into the weekend. If Allen were to play, he will face a Giants defense in a favorable matchup. The Giants secondary has struggled versus wide receivers this year and are allowing 150 yards and a touchdown per game to the position. With this being the last week of the regular season in many fantasy leagues, managers sure hope that Allen will be able to perform for them this weekend. If Allen were to miss Week 14, wide receiver Jalen Guyton would be the next man up. Guyton is coming off of his best performance in Week 13 with four receptions for 90 yards and a touchdown and relies on his speed to beat receivers over the top. Pending Allen plays, managers should treat him as WR1 on Sunday.
