Keibert Ruiz Hits First Home Run Of The Season
3 years agoWashington Nationals catcher Keibert Ruiz had a strong day at the dish on Thursday, going 2-for-5 with a run and two RBI in the 9-7 loss against the Colorado Rockies. The backstop hit his first home run of the year and added a double to his line. Ruiz is batting .275 with five runs, nine RBI, and is striking out just 9.4% of the time over 21 games. The 23-year-old has a lot of potential moving forward, but in terms of fantasy, he should be viewed as just a batting average contributor who won't help much in other categories.
