2 years agoWashington Nationals catcher Keibert Ruiz isn't in the team's starting lineup for Wednesday's game against the Los Angeles Dodgers and left-hander Julio Urias. Ruiz has enjoyed a strong season at the plate so far for Washington, batting .283 with a .343 on-base percentage, a home run, and two stolen bases in 140 plate appearances. Riley Adams will start behind the plate on Wednesday instead and hit sixth. In 45 plate appearances this season, the 26-year-old has hit a pair of home runs while batting .214 with a .267 on-base percentage.
