Keibert Ruiz To Debut For Nats Monday
3 years agoWashington Nationals catcher Keibert Ruiz will be called up to make his team debut in Monday's game against the Philadelphia Phillies. The number one prospect in the Nationals system, Ruiz was acquired along with Josiah Gray in the trade that sent Max Scherzer and Trea Turner to the Dodgers. On Monday, Ruiz will be battery mates with Gray. In 20 games for Triple-A Rochester, Ruiz has six doubles and five homers, and he figures to garner plenty of playing time in the majors for the rest of the season. He could be a top-ten catcher right away, and he's deserving of an add in all formats, though he's likely already rostered in dynasty and keeper leagues.
