2 years agoMinnesota Vikings quarterback Kellen Mond is expected to battle Sean Mannion during training camp for the No. 2 spot on the depth chart. The 23-year-old looked good during team activities this past spring, with offensive coordinator Wes Phillips describing him as "very sharp." While Kirk Cousins has a firm grasp on the starting job, Mond appears to have a realistic shot of being promoted to the veteran's direct backup in 2022-23. Although Mond doesn't possess any fantasy value in anything outside of deep dynasty formats at the moment, he's someone to watch, especially if Cousins goes down with an injury at some point throughout the year.--Dennis Clausen - RotoBaller
