3 years agoMinnesota Vikings quarterback Kellen Mond completed 6-of-12 passes for 61 yards in the Vikings preseason loss to the Colts. The rookie did not lead the team on a scoring drive and had a nice 23-yard connection called back by penalty. Mond has been behind schedule after missing the first portion of training camp due to testing positive for COVID but has inched his way past quarterback Jake Browning for the QB2 role on the team. The coaching staff may use the final preseason game to evaluate one more time but Mond has positioned himself to be the backup for Week 1.--Joey C - RotoBaller
