4 years agoIt has been a tough go of it lately for the former TUF winner Kelvin Gastelum (17-7), who has now lost three of his last four bouts. Gastelum was dominated in the striking department on Saturday, only landing 62 significant strikes (70 total strikes) compared to Robert Whittaker's 150 significant strikes. The 29-year-old Gastelum is now 1-1 in 2021 and has plenty of time to right the ship. Ranked eighth in the UFC's middleweight division, it's possible we see a slip in the rankings and a drop in competition for Gastelum.
