6 years agoNationals relief pitcher Kelvin Herrera (shoulder) was activated from the 10-day disabled list Tuesday. This was followed by a corresponding move sending starting pitcher Tommy Milone to the DL to make room on the roster for Herrera. With Sean Doolittle still shelved and Koda Glover's struggles recently, Herrera is set to assume the role of Nationals closer for the time being. He might be in to pitch a low leverage inning beforehand but should get a few save opportunities until Doolittle comes back.--Kev Mahserejian - RotoBaller
