5 years agoAfter being again unavailable over the weekend with recurring elbow inflammation, Toronto closer Ken Giles picked up his first save since August 7, in a 3-0 victory over the Rangers on Tuesday. Called upon in the ninth, Giles faced four batters, striking out one and allowing one walk before getting Shin-Soo Choo to foul out and give him his 16th save on the year. Never in doubt of losing his job, it has been only health that has restricted Giles lately, but if healthy he's a top-20 closer for the rest of the season.--Nicklaus Gaut - RotoBaller
