Kendall Graveman Enters In The Sixth
4 years agoSeattle Mariners relief pitcher Kendall Graveman entered Tuesday's game with one one in the sixth inning, to relieve starter Justin Dunn. Once again, Graveman was outstanding, getting five outs and only allowing a single walk. He also struck out one batter. If it wasn't abundantly clear before now, Graveman is being used in the highest leverage situations. Manager Scott Servais clearly recognizes that Graveman is his best bullpen option, and is eschewing the traditional closer position that goes along with it. Graveman still has fantasy value with his excellent ratios, as he now has pitched 13 1/3 scoreless innings, but he only has three saves and may not be a source of too many more. He's an add in all leagues that count holds, at the very least.
