Kendall Graveman Picks Up Fifth Save Sunday
3 years agoSeattle Mariners relief pitcher Kendall Graveman successfully protected a one-run lead Sunday, entering in the ninth inning and only allowing one single against Cleveland. Graveman struck out one batter en route to his fifth save. Through 16 2/3 innings over 14 appearances, Graveman has still not allowed a run. He's been outstanding, and the only thing holding him back from fantasy stardom is the fact that he hasn't been used as a traditional closer. With no other viable closing options in the Seattle bullpen, those opportunities may come more frequently.
