4 years agoSeattle Mariners relief pitcher Kendall Graveman was placed on the injured list on Sunday, the team announced through Twitter. Given the fact that there was no injury designation, and that the team announced it as "injured list" instead of "10-day injured list," it appears likely that Graveman has been caught up in the COVID-19 outbreak in the Mariners bullpen that has already sent four relievers to the injured list. Graveman had emerged recently as the frontrunner for saves in Seattle's bullpen, as he now has five saves in 16 appearances this year. It's unclear how long he'll be out, but in the meantime Rafael Montero and Keynan Middleton appear to be the two guys who will likely split save opportunities until his return.--Michael Grennell - RotoBaller
