Kendrick Bourne Lands On COVID-19 List
3 years agoNew England Patriots wide receiver Kendrick Bourne was added to the Reserve/COVID-19 list Monday, throwing his status for Week 16 vs. Buffalo in flux. Bourne was joined on the list by linebackers Harvey Langi, Cameron McGrone and Ronnie Perkins. The 26-year-old has enjoyed a solid season out wide for New England, having hauled in 45 catches for a team-high 667 receiving yards to go along with five touchdowns. The Patriots passing game has been notoriously finicky to monitor in the wake of Tom Brady's departure, even with rookie quarterback Mac Jones adding stability to the position this year. An absence from Bourne against a stout Bills defense would elevate the upside of Jakobi Meyers and Nelson Agholor (head), although New England threw all of three passes in its last matchup with its division-rival in Week 13.
