7 years agoWhile Toronto Blue Jays designated hitter Kendrys Morales made headlines over the weekend for pitching a scoreless inning in a lopsided loss, he had people talking on Tuesday the good old fashion way – with his bat. In a 5-3 win over the Los Angeles Angels on Tuesday, Morales finished 2-for-3 with a home run and two RBI. Don’t look now, but Morales seems to be getting hot. The two hits marked his second consecutive multi-hit game with base knocks in each of his last three, picking up hits in five of his last 11 trips to the plate. We’re going to need to see a power surge out of Morales to make him fantasy relevant, though.--John Smith
