6 years agoToronto Blue Jays slugger Kendrys Morales is getting the day off on Tuesday after flirting with history over the past week. Morales fell short in his attempt to hit a home run in eight consecutive games on Monday night. Teoscar Hernandez will serve as the designated hitter in Morales' absence and bat sixth in the lineup. Morales should be back starting on Wednesday as he seeks to begin a new home run streak.
