7 years agoToronto Blue Jays designated hitter Kendrys Morales has been out of action with a hamstring strain, but it sounds like he’ll be ready to return from the disabled list when first eligible on Friday. Morales’ return likely shifts Curtis Granderson, who has been the designated hitter in his stead, back to the outfield and sends outfielder Teoscar Hernandez either to the bench or the minors. Prior to the injury, Morales was putting up solid counting statistics through the eight games he played, hitting one home run with two runs scored and six RBI. His slash line of .227/.280/.364, however, leaves much to be desired. Morales isn’t worth much fantasy consideration.--John Smith
