6 years agoToronto Blue Jays designated hitter Kendrys Morales may have gotten into a groove over the last few days, but evidently the Jays would rather keep him on the bench on Wednesday against lefty Tyler Skaggs and the Los Angeles Angels instead of trying to keep it going. Morales has had himself a nice few days, picking up five hits in his last 11 at-bats, including a two-run home run on Tuesday. It’s worth noting that Toronto heads to Philadelphia for a weekend set, and so there’s a pretty good chance Morales is riding the bench for a few games over the next few days--John Smith
