6 years agoToronto Blue Jays designated hitter Kendrys Morales had an absolute scorching month of June but tailed off near the end, and his woes seem to have continued into July. In a 3-2 loss to the Detroit Tigers on Monday, Morales finished 0-for-3 with a walk. He’s now hitless in each of his last three games and has picked up only one hit in his last seven outings. Over that span, he has gone 1-for-19. If you picked up Morales in June when he slashed .277/.326/.482 with four home runs and five doubles, you can probably feel safe dropping him in most leagues until he gets going again.--John Smith
