6 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers closer Kenley Jansen had an interesting outing in Friday's 3-2 loss to the Angels. Jansen entered the game up by one to start the ninth inning and got two quick outs. Jansen then walked Shohei Ohtani, who stole second but advanced to third on a Yasmani Grandal throwing error. A David Fletcher single tied the game, and then Yasiel Puig bobbled an Ian Kinsler bloop hit and threw it to the backstop, allowing Fletcher to score the winning run from first base. Jansen's final line was two runs allowed (one earned) on two hits and a walk with a strikeout in two-thirds of an inning. He looked fine in the outing, so fantasy owners should not be worried. He remains a top fantasy closer.--Connelly Doan - RotoBaller
