6 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers closer Kenley Jansen pitched a scoreless inning in a non-save situation in Wednesday's 8-1 win over the Reds. Jansen pitched the ninth inning, allowing no hits or walks with a strikeout. He had not traveled to Colorado for the team's previous series with the Rockies due to his irregular heart condition. While Jansen is expected to have surgery this offseason for his condition, it looks like, hopefully, he will be fine to pitch for the rest of this season.--Connelly Doan - RotoBaller
